The Need

Nestlé Science identified the need to offer health care professionals (HCPs) an educational resource covering the fundamentals of feeding tube management. As a company who offers medical nutritional products it sees the importance and commitment to supporting proper health care management and solutions.

The Solution

KDG supported Nestlé with the development of an online educational program that delves into best practices for feeding tube management and patient care.

The program explores feeding tube types, key components, and their function which are supported by rich illustrations and animation. In addition, a section of this program features a certified nurse practitioner who is a subject matter expert covering the clinical care of feeding tubes. She also reviews the treatment for various feeding tube complications.

Upon successfully completing the quiz, the HCP received a certificate of completion (CEU).
