Cardiovascular Systems Sales Training
The Need
Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (CSI), now a part of Abbott, develops and markets innovative cardiovascular intervention solutions for treating peripheral and coronary artery disease.
With the company’s ongoing growth, CSI recognized the need to update its sales force training to effectively educate its team on both peripheral and coronary fundamentals, as well as provide an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and solutions.
The Solution
Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. selected KDG to support and work closely with it’s internal team of subject matter experts (SME’s) to develop new and updated training materials. After the SME’s developed the final curriculum, all content was handed-off to KDG to develop training courses for online delivery.
Concepts like Clinical Applications, Orbital Atherectomy, and Hemodynamics can be challenging to understand. To improve the learning experience, KDG provided instructional design and developed content featuring engaging visuals, animations, and interactive elements. These enhancements make the material more engaging and promote better retention and understanding, resulting in a more effective and lasting learning experience.
Various courses were broken down into multiple lessons. This provides a better user experience since the sales representative can complete a 10-15 minute lesson in one session.
Each course provides mastery quizzing at the end for a competency check. The results are passed to the LMS.
