Bioventus Offers Physician Education

The Need

Bioventus focuses its medical product development around three segments: Pain Treatments, Restorative Therapies and Surgical Solutions. In support of the company’s products, Bioventus offers the Bioventus Online Academy website. This serves as an online educational resource for physicians to learn more about Bioventus products.

To encourage the physicians to return to the website, Bioventus determined the need to further expand it’s educational offering.

The Solution

KDG supported Bioventus with the development of a suite of online education modules that offered Physicians a more in-depth understanding of Bioventus products, relevant clinical study data, and analysis, the treatment of bone fractures, and bone science fundamentals.

KDG worked closely with Bioventus subject matter experts and their internal education management team to create these online courses. Complex clinical information needed to be distilled and delivered in a format that informs and engages the physicians.

To help accomplish this, KDG created graphics, multimedia, and interactions to support the content. Voice-over narration is also integrated within the modules. Some of the courses include Bone Graft Substitutes, Allografts and Synthetics, EXOGEN, DUROLANE, and Bone Marrow Aspirate.

This content continues to provide physicians with useful educational material. They also support Bioventus in their online educational marketing efforts.
